He wrote “Winning through Intimidation” (about avoiding social intimidation) and “Looking Out for Number One” (about getting rid of weed people in your life that merely take away).  And I was thinking the more broader application would be of MGTOW that it gets rid of every problem that prevents a man going his own way.

I was going to post this today sometime, but I had a trip to NYC for an interview that was likely a waste of time.  Related to this, along the way, I ran into a Buddhist (or was it a Kristna?) who then gave me some beads I didn’t ask for, a picture card, and began to copy down my name, where I was from and what I was seeking (I didn’t ask for this), and then wanted a donation I guess for a building of some sort to be built.  I did try to give him a buck, but he rejected it.  So, what I did was I returned all the stuff, and went my own way.  This looks like a very obvious way of getting played in life, and I see other ways more subtle, but there.  It seems to be a good metaphor for what I was thinking of before I went to NYC.

Anyhow, anyone else remember Robert Ringer’s writings?  I think they would be of benefit to MGTOW, as I believe would applying going one’s own way to all things, and not just getting played by dupes of gynocentrism.

Welcome.  I see when you look at MGTOW in a larger framework, of what to do with going your own way, he is very helpful.  His stuff is gender independent though, so some women may buy into it also.  But, I figured I would share it, because I am not sure who heard of his stuff, and I figured it would be worth looking at and letting people know.  He was part of a larger self-empowerment movement from the 1970s, and his books ended up meaning to shock with their titles, but underneath, it was useful for people.  Individuals who are tied to collective thinking (I had been there) were shocked by it.  But, when you realize how much out there, from all over is trying to drain you for its own ends, and not care about what you want or agree to, then you end up saying enough.  I have this reality so MGTOW is myself going my own way, and trying to take ownership of myself, and get my way working, before things get worse.  My way isn’t just about me, but it certainly isn’t about just placating anyone else (or groups of others) because I need acceptance, and to be put in as a beggar.  I believe the best thing I can do for anyone is empower myself, not be needy, and lay out sane terms/boundaries for myself that others agreeing to also end up better off.

Robert Ringer did have some weird ideas, but it goes with the territory.  I think he advocated professional sports giving the best team the best draft pick, rather than the worst.

Thx bro, I like this guy seems like an old school, tuff as nails kinda gent, definitely gonna check out more of his stuff. He’s absolutely right and I agree that sex is totally overrated, it’s been hyped up by so many (prob women btw)that’s it’s become it’s own entity. Smh.

My take is that he said it feels great, and is a good end in itself activity.  But, in the bigger picture, it isn’t all that.
