Yes, it’s getting worse as I see single women (in public) .. treat their pets as both their husband and children; that’s correct, women have essentially made those little dogs their spouse and kids. It must give those poor animals a complex to take on that heavy load.
One minute she is shaking her finger in it’s face and yelling at the poor husband animal and scolding it saying things like “don’t you dare ever do that again”
.. the next minute she is talking to it in ‘baby talk’ as her little child saying “come to momma and get a treat.”
I suppose they give their pets birthday parties with hats and doggy cakes and ..?

Yes, and in some affluent cities the dogs eat in the restaurants alongside the couples, and the man is relegated to taking them out in their stroller while the woman sits and looks fabulous, and then bringing it back after having to wipe its paws and butt.

I like that vision. Not so much that everyone is old, but that all the old people are single. I’m not there yet, but when I’m up in my 70s and beyond, the idea of living in an old folks home where everyone is single and enjoying life sounds great. Reminds me of college days living in the dorms, except no classes.

Individual choices = / = society
If the society as whole have problems, then it isn’t up to individuals to fix such problems with individual actions.
It’s up to the whole society, mainly up to politicians, sociologists, scientists, and so on. Those people are paid for that, and that’s their job, not mine or your.
Actually it seems they’re trying to fix it with a mix of immigration (mainly) and, way less, incentives to couples having children.

The topic posted by miawmiaw is a sad thing. Women always slam sad things that they created into the faces of men.

Because “men are always the problem”.

That is probably why this “blame shaming” topic causes tuna alarm.

It is sad thing having a society full of lunatic pet lovers and lonely people.
