Let me clarify: I am a childhood abuse survivor, I’m a male, and I’m completely insane. I have several mental disorders, Schizoid Personality Disorder being one of the most prominent. Ever since I was aware of what had occurred to me, I have been trying to find out just what parts of my personality are a result of having been repeatedly raped by my cousin -let’s call her Margaret-, living my early childhood years in a bad neighborhood, and spending the rest of my childhood being bullied and continued being raped by Margaret, and which parts of my personality were “genuine”, or “the real me”.

Before harshly waking up to the reality that there is no such thing as “real me” and “other me”, I was obsessed with finding myself, finding a “cure” for my madness, and finding justice. Now I understand that there’s only me… me, my personality, my thoughts, and my actions.

It was probably the “finding justice” bit that made me take the Red Pill. It didn’t take me long to realize that male victims are ignored at best, laughed at or even vilified at worst by… well, let’s call them the mainstream, but you probably know who I’m talking about here. I learned that, in order to have a chance at being heard, I had to go underground. That’s probably what led me to the MRM, and eventually to MGTOW.

In terms of going my own way, however, I must say that I have been doing so for most of my life. I rarely form any emotional connections with anyone, particularly women, and I’ll let you take a wild guess as to why that might be. I do have a few close friends, whom I cherish, and whom have pulled my sorry ass back from the brink on more than one occasion.

I’ve always sort of done whatever I pleased; even as a kid on my free time (I guess you can say I was a Boy Going His Own Way, hahaha). I’ve chosen a career path and a way of working that fits me perfectly. No office politics, no nonsense, no discrimination of any kind, just results. It’s often a cold, pragmatic system, but that works just fine for a cold, pragmatic individual.

Now I’ve finally achieved my dream, and have become a published author. I’ve written a book called “The Viper’s Nest”, and it talks about my experiences through my childhood and early teen years, told from my perspective. Anyway, I think this has been going on for a long, long time, so I won’t drag my introduction any longer. Suffice it to say, that while I have always seen the MGTOW way of life as “just the logical thing to do”, it’s good to know that there’s a name for it, that others have embraced it, and that I’m not crazy for doing so, too.

Someone may have hung those diagnoses on you, and they may be accurate, but they shouldn’t be based on your reasoning skills., which seem to be working very well. Your perceptions of the mainstream media and the gynocentrism it spews forth, are congruent with the now documented perceptions of at least 5000 other members of this site, who’ve not been diagnosed with anything as far as I know. Things really are as you have perceived them.

Your intro also mentioned that you’ve had a few friends. Now that you’re member here, know that you have many. There are doctors, attorneys, engineers, musicians etc who are active, successful, productive, and now safe and un-parasitized by the same sort of culprit that you are recovering from. We have all escaped and recovered, and you will as well.

I’m glad to see I’m not the only one noticing a pattern of gynocentrism in the media, in fact I would go so far as to say they promote outright misandry at times. That much I know is not just paranoid thought patterns. Thank you for your compliment, and saying that I’m a pro. You’re also right when you say Margaret is insane. Then again, so am I, according to the pros. Regarding my reasoning skills, I have a short, yet funny story to tell you (because, well, that’s part of what I do for a living):

I remember I have been visiting psychologists ever since I was a child, around 6 years old is as far back as I can recall. I would talk to the psychologist, maybe do some drawings, the usual stuff for a child in that situation, I guess. The psychologist would obviously never say anything regarding his/her findings to me, but he/she would talk to my parents. Being the curious little guy that I am, I would always ask them when we left the building:

“What did the doctor tell you?” I would inquire.

“Oh, you know… that you’re very smart!” My parents would answer, after a brief moment of silence.

“Yahoo!” I would think to myself.

That went on with every psychologist I visited, until about a year ago, once I was already an adult, and the psychiatrist (not psychologist… not entirely) said to me:

“Well, Michael. It has become very apparent to me that you’re a highly intelligent individual…” He started.

“Hahahaha! Yeah, I get that a lot!” I interrupted.

“…but you’re also completely f~~~ing nuts.” He said.

“Yahoo!” I exclaimed, much to the psychiatrist astonishment, followed by laughter from both of us.

Finally, I’m glad I have the potential to find a lot of new friends here. Friendship, I have found, is one of the most valuable things in this world. Hopefully, I have just stumbled across a treasure chest, filled with good, smart jewels, even if some are a little rough around the edges.

The “mainstream” sure does like to hang diagnoses on us.  I’ve been labeled as NPD/OPS: Narcissistic Personality Disorder with Oversize Penis Syndrom, though part of that was from the ex-wife; the other is self-diagnosis.

Honestly, I don’t doubt for a second the establishment makes a point of pinning diagnoses on someone who has experienced what you did with intent to isolate you and keep you from sharing your experiences.  Your reaction to what happened sounds perfectly rational.  And we know whimmin tend to be hypersexual and obsessed with any deviant sexual behavior they can think of, which is why Cosmo can consistently turn a profit.  The establishment knows it too, and if more guys like you share your stories, they’re in deep s~~~.  Eventually it’s going to once again be the general consensus amongs men: Whimmin are f~~~ing nuts!
