You can call me the President. I am a veteran who is back home making a living for his family. I’m very intelligent, but no currently not living to my potential. I have fantastic kids and a good wife (a lot of the time), but she has been abusive. I have been a strong man because of my upbringing. Work hard for everything you get. I have many skills and my IQ is through the roof. I am here to advance myself and not live like my wife “demands” I do, but like I want to. I put my family first and I am trying to get ahead of the game, but civilian life is slow going. Looking for some advice, laughs, friendships, and of course teaching considering I am a young man. You’ve just made it a whole heap harder for yourself. I’m not saying dont put your kids first, but many times a parent has to lead by example and that means doing it hard while you improve yourself or getting yourself out of a bad situation and making the tough choices.

One of my many complaints against my ex is that exact phrase. I’m a baker by trade, having completed an apprenticeship a few years ago but she ensured that I never had the time or money to put into further education so that I can find a job that pays more and I enjoy because she didnt want to work hard whilst I studied.

]]> https://www.mgtow.com/forums/topic/hello-5/#post-7516 <![CDATA[Reply To: Hello]]> https://www.mgtow.com/forums/topic/hello-5/#post-7516 Wed, 12 Nov 2014 23:47:06 +0000 Crazy Canuck I would bail on her if I was you.  Growing up I saw what an abusive spouse can do it children when even children aren’t being abused.  It’s never good to stay in a marriage when one partner is abusive.  I am talking from my own experience.  I see bother of my step sister abusive to their husband because have heard and seen my father being abusive to my step mother.  You might want to try councilling and try to find a good one or a therapist but it sounds like she wouldn’t be the type to willing to do that.  I wish you luck.
