Beyond the obvious F*k-ya! reaction at seeing one? I ask because strangely enough, and for quite some time, before I joined this site, I pictured myself the same. Albeit, it was more akin to being a decimated fighter free-floating through space. Battle torn and ripped to s~~~, but with pilot still-inside, on some kind of automated life support. Alright, I know it sounds pretty childish, but I’ve felt that way and pictured myself in that very fashion for quite some time, at least the last two years or so. And what more is it was a direct correlation to the situation I was in. Maybe as a means of trying to visualize my specific scenario as a whole. So imagine my surprise when I found this sight, and the symbolism within it. Mind. Blown. Any thoughts on the psychology behind the imagery?

This site is where the mgtow crew foamed the runway, raised the break nets and had medics waiting.

Hard rough landing but I made it. Hospital filled me with red pills.

Now I’m seeing my broken kite getting fixed up and more importantly upgraded.

The desperate soldier fighting just to survive against insane odds.

John Wayne in the final 15 minutes of True Grit.

Inwardly I think in the times of the most difficult struggle a grown man looks at the circumstances and inwardly wish it was them riding the disintegrating aircraft.  The amount of courage that it takes to face the potential of an honorable death seems to pale in comparison to the courage it takes to go home and face the same person day in and day out, that swore at an alter to love and honor you till death parts the both of you.

Perhaps there is a little of a desire for painful heroic death rather than the reality of a disintegrated marriage when we are socially programmed from day one that we are benefactors of our families and success or failure hinges upon our efforts.  Any idea that this is true has long since gone from my reasoning.

I’m a land lubber and never enjoyed flying despite being a paratrooper for six years.  But I did pull the rip cord on my particular flame out and landed safe and sound.  I took my pack off that day and haven’t put it back on since.

"I asked you a question. I didn't ask you to repeat what the voices in you head are telling you" ~ Me. ........Yes I'm still angry.

Building a pole structure a shed. A weary helicopter to lift chainsaw, skill-saw, boards and more…Work  finally picking up for me.

Tower I hope the campground is secure and thawed out..

Soldier-medic at my age  52years I am starting to wonder and guess how many more years I can do heavy construction..Trod on we must. On a hot day in Texas it can get brutal….

I was bound to be misunderstood, and I laugh at those who misunderstand me. Kind mockery at the well intentioned, but unfettered cruelty towards those would be prison guards of my creative possibilities. This so as to learn as much from misunderstanding as from understanding. Taking pleasure in worthy opponents and making language fluid and flowing like a river yet pointed and precise as a dagger. Contradicts the socialistic purpose of language and makes for a wonderful linguistic dance, A verbal martial art with constant parries that hone the weapon that is the two edged sword of my mouth.

I loved this comment the moment you left it. Delayed in responding but bookmarked it for later.

Until not too long ago, “MGTOW” had a false image and were largely perceived incorrectly by detractors as a “nothing but a bunch of” loser / broke / fat / bald / short / virgin / little-dicked / faceless / “bitter” / rejected / wimpy / social reject / basement-dwelling “males” with no options who “can’t get laid”. But nothing could be further from the truth.

Our first aim was to dispel this once and for all, and if you look around, you’ll notice MGTOW are worked out MEN who are / pumped / tall / educated / highly skilled and even immensely wealthy…. who have had more than just their share of “getting laid” and recognize the value of the modern vagina is $0.

This forces the other side to accept that THEY are not all that, and MEN JUST DON’T WANT THEM ANY MORE.

A very difficult reality for them to accept. In fact, it’s the LAST reality they are willing to accept.

MGTOW is rapidly shattering their illusions and the fighter jets show a position of “flying high”, “flying solo” and “flying away at MACH III” as ultimately freeing and highly positive, leading to enormous benefits. The sky is the limit , really.

Thrilled you picked up on the meaning …. but mostly, that it inspired thought.
THAT was the point. Why pursue women, when there are far more lofty pursuits.

“Lofty” Meaning: High Flying, Sky-Scraping, Tall, Giant, Towering…

• Being broke is not exclusive to MGTOW.
• Being short is not exclusive to MGTOW.
• Being bald is not exclusive to MGTOW.
• Being a virgin is not exclusive to MGTOW.
• Being little-dicked is not exclusive to MGTOW.
• Being “bitter” is not exclusive to MGTOW.
• Being “shattered in divorce” is not exclusive to MGTOW.
• Being “rejected” is not exclusive to MGTOW because even PUAs will tell you they are “rejected” +95% of the time.

None of the s~~~ they think MGTOW are is exclusive to MGTOW.
They can’t show (or prove) that MGTOW are any of that.

What separates MGTOW from everyone else is the refusal to play into that game and pursue relationships, marriages or women for anything at all. We have more important pursuits that pay and reward men (themselves) in a way that none of that other s~~~ ever will. Beginning with saving men’s lives, futures and fortunes.

If you keep doing what you've always done... you're gonna keep getting what you always got.

Funny enough I have had my imagination run along the same line of some spacecraft floating in space half -damaged as a metaphor for me checking out of society altogether.

Sorry for the late reply. Not only does KeyMaster make sense of it all, but I find it perplexing that the same analogy resonates mentally amongst more than one…. I swear it’s like our “life-support” was about to give out and the whole damned fleet shows up in your rear-view to reel you and give some much needed repair…I don’t know man… it just makes sense. Hell, can’t explain what the Sun is made of, doesn’t mean it doesn’t serve it’s purpose well. It may not be for us to question and just accept it for what it is, and how it benefits us.
