I don’t have an issue with someone joining a group voluntarily.

There are plenty of groups where people join and give up their freedom to the group rules and culture. Monasteries are an example, the moonies, non aligned mormons, die-in-the-wool communists. If the government doesn’t agree with them, they are labeled cults.

I know the titillation the press will have with it because of the sex slave aspect of it. Again, it will be reported as a man who supposedly “brainwahsed” these women and had sex with them, and he will go to prison for that.

As for branding. People modify their bodies all the time, tattoos, piercing, boxtox, silicone injections. Silicious as it also involved sexual slavery, but in and of itself, not really of that much interests to me.

I put it on par with those guys in the news recently from the Philippines, who where whipping themselves and some being put up on a cross in honor of Easter. A bit extreme for my tastes. But if that what floats their boats, and they are not hurting anyone else, they’re adults, have at it.

From what has been reported thus far, there were no bars or gates holding people. Just adult people that made a decision to dedicate their life to a certain philosophy that included submissive sex.

I don’t know if there were children there. To the degree there were, my comments don’t apply. My thinking then is that a different standard applies with children in your care and there may well be potential violations or even crimes, and that may need to be investigated.

As for the adults, if some women want to be sex slave to some guy, then other than warning him on how this is all going to end up, with him a victimizer of these taken advantage of females, it’s their decision.

How can a woman be expected to be happy with a man who insists on treating her as if she were a perfectly normal human being.
