Work was my sanctuary and a place where I could be my genuine self and not have to weigh every word that came out of my mouth. I loved to work and I was a model prisoner….direct deposited my regular pay and handed over the monies I made on the weekends. Then, it hit me. Regular pay is one thing…..weekend pay should be mine. After all, I’m using my heart beats to generate regular weekly income for the collective. Therefore, logically, monies generated by giving up my free time on the weekend should belong to me alone. It’s only fair. So I went with that. Let’s just say that this didn’t make me very popular with my wife. She all but demanded that I give her the week end money. I explained my position in a calm, logical manner. She said it wasn’t fair but was at a loss to explain why. “Just because that’s what I always did before” didn’t work for me anymore but, to be fair, I told her I would be open to discussing the subject if she came up with any logical and practical reasoning to return to the old way. She was fuming and, happily, I was beyond caring. I’m sure it will surprise no one on this site that the subject was never brought up again. FYI, my wife was a stay at home mom that worked when she wanted to and kept any money she earned…..and I had NO problem with that. Perhaps she realized that she was wrong and was being unreasonable…..BWAAHAAAHAAAA. Made myself laugh at that one. In retrospect, with the exception of my children, I can’t think of one good thing that was the direct result of being married.

]]> https://www.mgtow.com/forums/topic/extra-money/#post-54701 <![CDATA[Reply To: Extra Money]]> https://www.mgtow.com/forums/topic/extra-money/#post-54701 Wed, 20 May 2015 21:06:24 +0000 Beer One thing I’ll never do in life, is have joint accounts or credit cards.  I’ve seen too many guys wasting their life away working while the woman spends money fast as they can make it…its insane.  Just for example…a coworker recently was complaining his wife had a tantrum he spent 200 dollars on a fishing pole…right after she just booked herself a 3day/2night stay at a spa.  So…the husband that works more hours than she does and probably makes 2x what she does can’t buy a 200 dollar fishing pole he’ll have to enjoy for many seasons and its a big deal, but she can dump probably 1000+ dollars to pamper herself for a weekend and he shouldn’t complain because she works and has her own money?

They charge roughly 80$ hour for a massage; I’m guessing a lot more than that for three days and two nights. Is she banging her massage therapist? Shrugs; the whole thing is a buck of bulls~~~. It does remind me that I need to renew my fishing license : ) the last relationship I was in I dumped her before her birthday and spent the money I had put aside for the c~~~ and bought myself fishing and camping equipment.. buy $ ever spent, lol : )

I would tease her that she still had her first communion money. And, she didn’t break my b~~~~ when I bought tools or whatever. She tried that once and I took her ass to school pointing out that EVERYTHING we had and did was a result of MY earning the money to provide it and that she brought NOTHING of anything monetary value to the marriage. It was a power/control thing on her part. She lost control of a segment of my existence and it bothered her. It also bothered her when I decided that I through pursuing her for sex. AWALT. I marvel at guys that get married multiple times and are surprised when the same s~~~ happens over and over again. I am very happy and free in my new life without a wife. I am so thankful that I figured this stuff out before I made the mistake of jumping the broom again.
