I had the following conversation with a NAWALT earlier this evening. Safe to say we are no longer friends. I was explaining the philosophy of MGTOW to her (my fault, I didn’t have crayons with me) and, well, judge for yourself….

Her: MGTOW is ridiculous. Women don’t need a man to take care of them. We work same as men do. Some of us make more money and are even better at it then men. What does your MGTOW have to say about that?

I think you can’t expect her to understand MGTOW. I can’t understand how women can run this world by building, maintaining and fixing stuff if it weren’t for men. Replace need with have. Lack of an option/opportunity masked as an active choice. Make more money? Yes, compared to who? A felon who can’t find job? A man who isn’t as educated as her? Make more money than a man who is doing the same job/same hours/same credentials? I don’t think so. Even so, I agree women don’t need a man to take care of them. But they will be happy to take a man to elevate their ‘self caring’ to a higher level. More $$, less responsibilities.
