It now seems that our computers and internet are running far too efficiently, because there’s not enough wimmin clucking and laying egg after egg of failure in computer science:

D.!  I didn’t make the code social or a creative problem!  Of course, coming up with equations that modelled the system I was looking at, let alone formulating an algorithm that executed properly or devising a means of extracting and processing the input data, had absolutely nothing to do with it, did it?

It makes me wonder if whoever came up with the original idea for that Harvard Gazette article actually did any programming aside from playing with their Farcebook page.  Probably not.  It wouldn’t have been sufficiently “social” or “creative”.

lol… and what’s more, you didn’t have an unfolding of consciousness into the appropriate appreciation of the sacred feminine and holy t~~~tery. How DARE you be capable of complex algorithm formation, how dare you study all that lamda calculus without adequate socialization of the needs of sacred t~~~tery and its computing needs before you set one line of code! You should’ve done something beneficial and creative, like design a keyboard that could be used while the artificial nails were drying. You’re just a monster, Quarter Wave.  You need some group meetings to improve your social skills, and understand the needs of women.

Now, having said all that, it’s time for me to *barf wheeze hurl hack spew*… I read that article and I literally laughed out loud. I had to share it.

I’m so glad you bring your neutral prospective to us. Great share.

“programming is the solving of problems” – If it only were not for the patriarchy standing in their away they could do it.

I’ve never met a woman who could actually solve her way out of an open box. That’s why white knights useful are for to them. Gurrl Power!!! Bitchez!

Yes, QWV, report to reeducation camp 666 immediately.

Something women are especially averse to.

Which raises interesting questions, Rennie. Are women averse to intelligence? Well, every encounter I’ve had with them, even some of the more “intelligent” ones, marks that one down in the “no” column(as in, no intelligence). Hard work? applying fingernail polish, lipstick, spackling on makeup with a trowel, and gold-digging, is hard work!

Glad to help. I’m here to bring fairness, objectivity, and balance to the debate, because you’ll never see it being covered by the talking t~~~s and presstitutes of the mainstream media.

Why refer to a real accomplishment (or do even a bit of threadbare research with a two second google search), when it doesn’t fit their vagenda?
