When you are in your 40’s and you work in a grocery store, or clean toilets, or sell hot dogs or whatever and your position in life is stuck because you need money to make more money……………I’m rambling.

We all know it, legions of men who work hard but don’t make high wages and have no car, or home of their own, just don’t get very many dates, and often the relationship ends before it begins.

Men are judged f~~~-worthy by how fat our wallets are.

I f~~~ing hate being monetized, I am a human male for f~~~ sakes!

Outside this monetary judgementalism, I should be getting laid by different chicks all the time.

Not all women are like that though, the ones that aren’t have their own major faults, the faulty ones can be had, like the 400lb ugly, or the psycho bipolar bitch.

So there is hope.

How much money do you have/make?  It’s hard to tell, my dog keeps eating my wallet.

I am not a big financial success in life

If you spend less than you earn, you ARE a financial success in life.

Yeah, I am 40 and do not make a whole lotta money. I don’t even bother to approach any woman. The moment they find out that I am not a big success in life…….they want nothing to do with me. Never mind that I am in great physical shape, have good looks, have many interests. It don’t matter. The only thing that matters is that I am not a big financial success in life.

I am a 6’2″ slender, somewhat naturally muscular, fit guy, funny, intelligent, but all that matters is what I do for a living and how much I make.

Pluff! That’s the sound of my sails when the wind drops when I realise I am worthless to this woman that I want to date.

I am not worthy, because my wallet is too thin. Never mind I am a great guy.

The only hope is to depend on myself for happiness and self satisfaction.

A regular lay is really all I need, relationships are BS anyway. But it even takes money to get laid.

Well, Spongebob is a celebrity, so maybe living in a pineapple under the sea with a celebities coat-tails to hang onto would be attractive to a woman?

Careful though, if you tell her you ride the goodyear blimp, she will think it’s your ex.

I think I should be an undercover agent, that way I don’t have to reveal anything to her, and I can be mysterious, and being broke is part of the cover.

And women wonder why guys lie, liers get laid, simple as that.

Maybe a ridiculous response would have worked, as they certainly didn’t like it when I mentioned what I was working on, which, before I started my teaching position, was in industrial R & D.  No glamour for them as there weren’t any hot TV shows on that subject unless it was an action adventure series like Macgyver.  Had I been a physician or lawyer, they would only have seen $$$ and social status.

Making lots of money would have been acceptable, but given a choice between a high-paid tradesman and, say, a dentist, the latter would have been preferred.
