Our drummer is 55 and he is in school for social work ( for you young guys, don’t worry everyone else in the band is under 30).

There is no age limit on anything for men.  Women have from 18-35 to have a child then, even if they don’t…BAM they hit the wall.

I understand this .. I really do .. but he is realising he f~~~ up and was f~~~ed. He was a c~~~ … loser … mangina. He needs a good solid beating for what he did to his dad …..

But do we watch him drown now? Then walk away all happy at a job well done.

Or do we reach out … pull him up … give him the beating .. and then help him.

We can reach out and try to help him, and of course I wish him the best, but he must decide to take immediate action, it’s his life and he decides what is next for him.

He might as well be Batman with a broken back in the pit, he has a long journey ahead….

He’s got a hell of a journey back. He might not make it ….. and we can’t blame anyone except him really.

He’s still a brother, wounded and shamed. We have an unwritten and unsaid code within us.
