Trump’s proposed wall isn’t intended to stop the legal importation of Mexican products. Why would you think that? It’s to stop the mass influx of illegal squatters (they don’t deserve to be called immigrants) who enter the country, s~~~ out an anchor baby or two, and then go on welfare.
The last I checked the U.S. national debt is $19,242,713,612,453, which is larger than the entire U.S. Gross Domestic Product. Even worse the debt has increased by more than a hundred billion dollars in just the last three weeks, and will be well over $20 trillion by election time.
We simply don’t have the money to keep feeding more and more illegal squatters and their anchor spawn. The supreme court has already ruled that we can’t deny them welfare simply because they are criminally in the country, and mass deportation isn’t an option either, so what solution do you propose? As stupid as it is, the wall is about the only option left available by the activist courts.
If you think of yourself as either a conservative or a liberal, then congratulations: you’re giving free rent of your headspace to those who would convince you that there are only two ways of thinking about governance and laws. Remedy: Ask yourself who truly benefits from getting people to believe this.

Dude I’m a beaner. A native 7th generation Tejano specifically. I live in the southern most county of Texas which is Cameron. I work with people who 60% time are mexican and have spanish as their primary language. Most are here legally and simply work here or are American citizens. Illegal immigrants are not simply “Mexicans”.
Illegal immigrants like Trump talks about are not all Mexican decent and they coming here in the assload is a BAD thing and something only euRape cucks who like crime and feminism would appreciate. Believe it or not on the south border we get Chinese, Africans, and other ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS from other countries. Our epi program even dealt not to long ago with a Chinese immigrant with TB and we tracked his migration from China, mideast, to Africa, down to South America and up to get to the US.
The problem you don’t understand is that those who own land here are constantly getting their property trashed by illegal immigrants. I’ll vote for Trump. I voted for Sanders in the primary just to vote against Killery and spread some chaos against her.

Mexican’s working illegally in the US is not free trade. Free trade occurs legally, with goods passing through customs. Americans cannot do the work illegal aliens do for the same pay…because it’s illegal. There’s a thing called minimum wage, and that thing called income taxes that come with employing a citizen, etc. Yes, there are some jobs where illegals make more then minimum wage I’m sure, but again, no income tax. I’m not saying you’re 100% round, but it is not as simple as you’re describing.
